Kookaburra Estate Farm Kitchen Description

The Kookaburra Estate Farm Kitchen has quickly developed an excellent reputation for products produced for sale. Products range from homemade pastries to tarts; cakes, butters and curds to jams, with the list always expanding!

Where possible ingredients used are grown on the farm. Without question, this adds to the freshness and taste. When ingredients not available on the farm are required, these are sourced from local suppliers. Many of the items are seasonal, each replaced with something just as delicious until next season.

The majority of products are from family recipes, many over one hundred years old. Whilst some items have been adapted to modern appearances, the recipes remain the same.

Kate started using the recipes in memory of her family, who were all country born and raised. Being fifth generation on the land, it became an important aspect of The Kookaburra Estate Farm Kitchen. While no large tarts or cakes are produced (unless specially requested) the vision is to have a variety of small items, enabling customers to buy and share tray in either mini (petite fours) or normal sized items. This makes for a perfect treat no matter your circumstances - just for one, for guests, or for children!

Kate's baked goods have now been recognised for their quality and taste, winning first and second places at the Mudgee Show, Hawkesbury Show, Wellington Show and Rylstone-Kandos Show.

Orders can be placed before markets for pick up on the day. Kate is now available for catering events and is happy to discuss your requirements!
