Reviews
When we first looked at kookaburra hill, I have got to be honest I was a little nervous after reading other reviews, however our worries were not necessary. Kookaburra must be under new management or have new owners as I can't speak more highly of the house, grounds and overall experience.
The main living area is very spacious and we were thrilled we could take our dogs with us for the weekend!
A short stroll from the cafes and restaurants, we didn't have to worry when going for dinner and having a drink (or two!) It literally was a 10 minute walk back.
The pool area outside was perfect for the children and we enjoyed cooking breakfast on the outside cooking facilities.
I will definitely be booking kookaburra again, can't wait to go back in the winter, light a fire in the living area, relax and unwind.
I can't recommend this place enough for a break away with your family, children and dogs!
The family have been coming to stay here on and off for about eight years. Children and dog love it here. Wonderful location only a short walk into the village with it cafés and restaurants. We found it to be a home away from home made all the more special by the the chook and duck eggs provided for your breakfast. The accommodation is exactly as described on the website which even had plans showing room layouts and sizes. The outdoor kitchen beside the pool is great in the evenings. The host, Pamela, even provides home made muffins and scones when you arrive. Simply wonderful and hope to get back soon.
