Curated by Hetti Perkins and Jonathan Jones, the South East | Aboriginal Arts Market will showcase the cultural heritage of South-Eastern Aboriginal Australia.
Featuring 26 stalls, the line-up is a mix of established and emerging creative collectives and independent artists, employing traditional and contemporary materials including weaving, literature, ceramics, carving, photography, painting, shellwork and textiles, and offers a unique opportunity to ‘meet the makers’.

Klub Koori presents: A Young, Black and Deadly Music Showcase and Album launch
This Saturday 22 September come celebrate the launch of the new 2018 Young Black and Deadly album - Don’t Kill the Vibe.
... The evening will feature ground breaking performances by young, talented, Indigenous musicians who recently completed a series of intensive music development, performance and recording workshops as part of Gadigal Information Service and Koori Radio’s Indigenous Youth Music Mentorship program.

This is happening Saturday from 10am-12pm at Hunts Creek Reserve in Carlingford. A relaxed walk along a beautiful stream where you will be introduced to the native plants which sustained the traditional Aboriginal custodians of the area, the Darug people. This program is aimed at adults and families with children over 7 years of age. Cost is $5 per person.
