We had dinner at this place with family and friends. I haven't picked the restaurant but I was pretty excited after reading a couple of reviews. It turned out that food was either plain or overcooked. I ordered an eye fillet. Oh my, I ended up with a sole in my plate. I ate about half but the meat was ruined. The waiter did not really know what to say, we talked to the owner who thanked us for the feedback. I was expecting way more from this Italian restaurant. I would not recommend this place.

Let's start by saying below average food tasteless and disrespectful to the food itself not to mention the human been that has to eat it. The pasta was a disgrace to the Italian community !! Then comes the eye fillet a piece of meat that suppose to be tender,juicy and melt in your mouth, instead all I got was a piece of charcoal the knife was useless had to use my fingers to show the owner that I ordered EYE FILLET and not pork belly crackling.!!
When I told the owner that that dish should have never come out of the kitchen all he said was thanks for the feed back ?? that just tells me he doesn't know about food.
So NICK I paid you $900 last night for 11 of us and left your place" LA RUMBLA " as a very very disappointed customer and mostly sorry to my mother in law that chose to celebrate her wedding dinner at your restaurant .!!!

Heard some pretty good things about this place, a friend worked in the kitchen a couple of years ago. Spoke highly of the quality of produce they purchased. Reckon might have changed suppliers. Anyway, twas a shocker. Staff didn't want to be there, long wait for dry over cooked food. Not shy about charging, city prices for poor for penrith food.

Their food is sensational but you'll need to book as they get very busy and its sometimes hard to find parking.
They also do home delivery which is great if you live close by. We highly recommend them.

Service was great...food was very average...bruschetta average n veal (came with half a stick of asparagus!) even worse...hope dessert is better. Sticky date...unfortunely also average. Heard the pizzas are good and wished i ordered that or the pork belly special.

Amazing Italian restaurant and the atmosphere seems out of place considering where this restaurant is located. However, it produces a luxurious experience. Service is great as well and compliments with satisfying cuisine. Fairly expensive however.
