From this Saturday 1 September make sure you slow down to 40km/h when passing any stopped emergency vehicle displaying blue or red flashing lights.
This new road rule applies to vehicles traveling in both directions, unless the road is divided by a median strip, and will help emergency works stay safe whilst on the job.

We recently had a very large tree branch fall in the stormwater creek near our house and the council was able to come out and remove it within two weeks which was a relief because it could have potentially caused a backup of water and flooding on the property. They did a great job and took all the pieces of wood and broken branches away with them as well. Thank you :)

No help at all

User

If only I could give no stars. I'm calling out the head ranger at Lake Macquarie Council. Not only did he side with the main offender (egging cars) in a neighbour dispute he went further and imposed 7 " no parking" signs in a 70 metre lane with only 4 houses to give his mate a personal parking spot on council property.

User

yeah it was fabby cant wait to comeback. sincerely Daniel Smith soon to be resident. p.s currently using a friends email

When is the dog problem at redhead beach going to be adequately addressed by council? Will it take a dog attack? A child dying from ingesting dog faeces? The beach is a disgusting Cesspit and a free for all for dogs and their irresponsible owners. These people will hopefully cause dogs to be banned from the entire beach. But council seems to have no control or desire to protect human beach users safety and continues to inadequately address the issue. Where is the ranger every weekend? Why can they not be contacted by phone directly? Outside office hours is the time that the majority of dogs are running all over the beach crapping everywhere. Lmcc needs to lift its game and improve the ability of rangers to address law breakers.

User

Ill successfully maintain a 5 star rating & 100% satisfaction to the broader community. Stay tuned.
