Lakes Hotel

turned up to check in, was asked for $50 holding deposit for keys and then told it takes up to 5 days to refund your money back into your bank account. This was not on there website. No Air con, place was very hot, had to have ceiling fan on all night. No mirror in the rooms me and two other ladies had to share the bathroom mirror to put our make up on and do our hair. Too many low life people staying there. TV was tiny, not even a iron. Only one shower in the bathroom. I WILL NEVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL AGAIN....this hotel clearly does not care to provide a comfortable stay for there customers...its all about the $$$$$$$$

Bravo lakes hotel Bravo! You are the jewel in the crown of lakes entrance. You manage to cram more locals into your TAB area than selfie sticks at the Sydney Oprah House. I guess the allure of a big win on the pokies is too much to pass up

Nice atmosphere and it has been renovated since we last visited a few years ago. Great improvement on the old Lakes Hotel. Looking forward to going there again.

The bed are very dirty. You can smell human dirty body on the bed. I have to live the fan on all night so the smell spread around. Definitely no a place to take your child. Too many low life. Great place for a party people. But didn't work for me and my daughter. Paid more and you get a better sleep. Food is very expensive never toilet paper on the lady's room

It was my 1st time here and I was pleasantly surprised. The decor looks lovely and the dining area was comfortable. The staff were friendly. I came for dinner with my mum and we had the Thai beef and it was cooked to perfection. It was the 2 for 1 meal deal. I will definitely be coming back again.

Was the first person to order dinner got the Atlantic salmon was very small and had to wait 35mins for the meal. Very slow..

Food and service was great as well as good prices. Very happy :)

Nice place during the day. Security staff on several nights were rude arrogant and disrespectful towards customers. The behaviour and attitude of an overweight female 'bouncer' was a disgrace. Overall your security staff ensure a steady flow of adult customers taking their hard earned elsewhere where hospitality Exists.
