WHAT IS IT?
Laketopia is a 3 day utopian gathering, camping on the shores of Wallis Lake with an intimate community of 100 souls, co-creating a magical experience of human potential.
THE 3 DAY EXPERIENCE is a dynamic blend of yoga, ecstatic dance, musical performance and optional workshops. We will be nourished by the inspiring vegan cuisine of Bondi’s ‘Sadanha Kitchen’. You are invited to participate in Clan rituals and relaxing free time, designed to help you learn relevant and enriching skills in permaculture, mindfulness, energy work and creative expression. It is an essential detox from digital distraction and incubator for the most magnificent resolutions possible to take into your new year.
LOCATION
Set on a divine 10 acre lakefront peninsula property with abundant permaculture gardens. 3. 5 hrs drive North of Sydney, 15 mins drive from pristine National Park beaches.
VISION
Our collective vision is to create a ritualized communal experience which opens heart connections, awakens creativity and self expression while dissolving separation.
TENANTS
We adopt the tenants of tribal unity, sharing and contributionism to achieve our vision.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to inspire Laketopians to take their experience back into their real life communities and make them a little more Laketopian.
OUR TRIBE will be a union of four clans: Earth, Water, Air and Fire, each with their own camping ground and key creative roles to build the collective experience.
UNDERSTANDINGS
You are invited to adopt a Laketopian name for the experience, something that represents your inner magician, lover, goddess, warrior, legend and most playful version of who you are.
This is a drug and alcohol free event, all stimulation will be provided by Mother Nature, the elements, herbal elixirs, nourishing vegetarian food, music, breath, life… you get the picture.
Our Tribe will consist of 4 CLANS, each having their own camping area and overarching role in the event. You can request to be in a particular Clan upon purchasing your ticket, with only 30 in each clan these will fill up very fast.
EARTH CLAN will tend the permaculture gardens.
FIRE CLAN will build the fire effigy.
AIR CLAN will create the marquee décor.
WATER CLAN will oversee the Lakeside festivities.
No talk of work or networking, this experience is about being totally present in the moment and connecting from the heart and looking into the radiant soul rather than the identity of others.
Upon entering the gates of Laketopia you are instructed to leave all judgement, comparison, and criticism at the gate, this is especially true for the biggest critic of all, your own mind.
