Lapiazza Pizza & Pasta Lane Cove

Walked down the road to ViaNapoliPizzaria.

I have been here several times. They do very nice pizza and pastas. The staff are attentive and helpful. The seating is outdoors and there are very good gas heaters for the cold days that make the air nice and warm.

Aways friendly, fresh and very tasty. A wonderful asset to the district.

A lane cove favourite for a reason. Great choices, staff always friendly and efficient and the food consistently good. Worth checking out the specials. Not overpriced either.

The food and service is always great, we eat here regularly.

On a business trip with an American friend who was "charged" a tip! Waitress swipes card, enters the bill then turns the machine a says enter your tip please. On her way back from table she gives a thumbs up to head waiter. Disgraceful. Embarrassing.

Anyone who says this is great food hasn't had good Italian before. It's not horrible but it's not great either.

My wife and I both ordered pasta dishes and both, while they looked good, lacked any real flavour. The pesto was creamy, simply due to using cream rather than making a good pesto sauce. This appears to be done to save money. And it makes it taste cheap. The same goes for the tomato pasta dish my wife had. And we were not offered any Parmesan to dress the dish with.

The service was good, prompt, and the food was made quickly, but unfortunately the flavours simply aren't there so we won't be back.
