Lara Joffe Chinese Medicine Description
My name is Lara Joffe. I was born in South Africa, and grew up with my family in Melbourne. I completed a Chinese Medicine Degree at the Southern School of Natural Therapies in 2007.
After completing my degree, I moved to Alice Springs for 2 years, where I worked at a Chinese Medicine Clinic. I also worked on a number of Indigenous communities in the Central Desert, mainly with women and children. I moved to Cairns in 2010 after meeting my husband, Billy. We now have a beautiful little boy named Noah and live on a 12 Acre property in Koah, on the Atherton Tablelands. We are growing our own food and working towards living self-sustainably.
I am a skilled and empathic practitioner, with a warm and sincere nature. I have a special interest in Women’s Health and Children’s Health. I am also passionate about food and love to educate people about using food as medicine. I am trained in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Massage, Cupping and Chinese Dietary Therapy. I also has solid foundations in Yoga, Meditation and Martial Arts.
