Our passion is connecting people through dance that's why we are Sydney's Best Latin Dance School! Home of the 8 x World Salsa Champions Oliver & Luda and World Bachata Champions Mitch & Ellicia. When you enter Latin Motion you will be greeted by dance champions and most importantly friends!
Latin Motion Dance Academy, through our 2 venues, Shark Hotel (Pitt St Sydney) & our home studio in St Peters has been offering Latin Dance Classes, Salsa Classes & Entertainment for over 20 years.
Latin Motion Dance Academy is a leading Latin Dance Company dedicated to the sustained growth of Latin Dance styles in Sydney, around Australia and indeed Worldwide.
Featuring Oliver Pineda, Australia’s only eight-time World Salsa Champion, as Director with celebrity dance partner Luda Kroitor, who was featured on "Dancing with the Stars" and "So You Think You Can Dance" and World Bachata Champions Mitch & Ellicia, you can be assured of quality and style!
We feel that dancing should not only look good, but feel good too. We have a clear, concise and easy to follow structure in our lessons to help you gain confidence and the best understanding possible. We want you to be the most sought after dancer on the floor! With over 30 years of dance experience between us, our teachers are chosen for their personal qualities and are well trained to provide you with the best.
Our dance school is focused on a syllabus-based dance education with caring and experienced professionals. Our students experience a fun refreshing program full of dancing, performing, and most importantly, the art of learning. Our mission is to encourage students of all ages and levels to experience the world of dance while gaining the benefits of high self-esteem, poise and physical well-being. Our staff is dedicated to providing quality instruction through positive reinforcement, while being actively involved in our student's physical and mental development as a dancer.
We live, breathe and love Latin Dance styles in all its wonderful variations and we feel honored and privileged to be able to spend our lives sharing our knowledge and enjoyment of Latin Dance with all our students and audiences in Sydney and around the world. We are also proud to be amongst the pioneers of Rueda and Mambo (On2), Bachata and Kizomba in Australia, and are delighted to be introducing new styles to Sydney continuously.

With the addition of Mitch and Elicia bachata world champions, things will spice up even more for the school. Expect big things to come in 2017 for LM.
