Laurastar Northbridge

I was heartened when I read this review because it made me feel like I was not insane...Customer Service is appalling. I am happy to pay the cost for these irons - as noted, when they work they are fabulous. However, when they need repair it is a minefield of inconsistencies and poor customer service?!
Dropped the off the iron (Northbridge) which required struts to be re-welded on and it is over a week when I get any feedback? When I do, it is over the phone with a representative who persists in talking over me?! She then tells me that there are a litany of issues with the iron and to date, not repair work has actually been carried out! What!!!! There was nothing wrong with the actual iron?
Running out of patience with LauraStar...while I can recommend the iron, if it comes with this level of customer service, I think I could do without it. It will certainly not get any recommendations from me.
