LAWASIA is an international organisation of lawyers and law associations which focuses on the interests of the legal profession in the Asia Pacific region.

The Law Association for Asia and the Pacific (LAWASIA) represents a constituency of lawyers’ associations and legal professionals across the Asia Pacific.

LAWASIA is focused on the interests of the Asia Pacific legal community and on legal challenges arising in the region - principally, those involving the rule of law, human rights, and international business relations.

Since its inception in 1966, LAWASIA has built an enviable reputation across the public, private and NFP sectors as a committed and dynamic professional association.

Through its linkage to over 40 member organisations, LAWASIA is exposed to a collective membership of over 1 million lawyers worldwide.
