Leaping Learners Philosophy
Our philosophy is based on nurturing and developing the whole child.

At Leaping Learners, we will encourage to nurture and meet the needs of children in the centre and treat all children as individuals.
We believe that children learn at their own pace and our programming will reflect this by being child centered and by respecting children's individual and cultural needs.
We will help to develop and support each child to try new things, develop independence and self help skills, confidence and positive self esteem, because we believe positive self esteem, confidence, self worth, to be respectful to all, independent to make choices and pro social behaviour, assists a child's ability to understand and develop strategies to overcome and succeed with a variety of all life challenges.

Every child and family that attends Leaping Learners Childcare Centre are all individuals with unique needs, interests and strengths. We provide care that is appropriate to the needs of the children and families regardless of their income, cultural background or disability.
We respects the differing social and cultural backgrounds of the families and children and will encourage and invite them to share their backgrounds into the centre.

At Leaping Learners we aim to provide 'play experiences and environments' that are enriching and that encourage and involve active exploration, as well provide a variety of experiences that stimulate the development of skills of the individual children through creativity and exploration. We will also aim to assess and observe each child as they develop skills and interests.

Leaping Learners quality care constantly reflects the high level of care set by the National Quality Standard, Early Years Learning Framework for Australia and Education and Care Services National Law and Regulation 2011 and continually strive to maintain a high quality status.
