At Leonine Design we use flowers to make art. Wedding, function and corporate flowers are all created with a great deal of love and creative passion

I have a background in Fine Art, and came to floristry slightly circuitously, via the world of photography and sculpture. I see flowers as but a tool with which I express my creative vision, just like some artists view the clay they mold or the paint they use (but what a beautiful tool! )

I love flowers so much that my husband calls me 'bee. '

I have worked as a florist for nearly 5 years, as a freelancer, and in a shop - and in all that time I have grown to love doing special events, like wedding flowers, more than anything else. The infectious joy of the day, and the creative scope such a big event allows really inspires my creativity.

My background in the art world really informs my work, I have a Masters of Fine Art, and am an exhibiting sculptor, you can be sure that the flowers I create for you will be an absolute masterpiece.

I pride myself in keeping abreast of current trends in the flower world, but also nourish and grow my own distinctive style. My work is loose, natural and unstructured; definitely not of the perfectly spherical bouquet school of thought! I like to make big bold bouquets, and really enjoy sourcing unusual and unexpected flowers and foliage from the flower markets, so you can be sure that your wedding bouquet will be different from all the others on pinterest!
