Dropped in for a quick wine tasting. Area for tasting was a little small, but staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The Amara was delicious, reminded me of the Pizzini Arnesis but at a better price. Tried the Shiraz and enjoyed both offerings. Lighter in tannins and an enjoyable flavour perfect as a Summer Red with a BBQ steak.
While we didn't eat, the food looked and smelt amazing. We will be returning next time we are in the area...hopefully for lunch as well.

Terrible atmosphere - we were put out in the ‘shed’ with the wine barrels - very cold, nothing to look at and very uncomfortable chairs. Service was very slow. Food was average despite high prices. Would not go back.

Good food. Nice place for a winery cafe. Nice wines. Shiraz is recommended both 15 and 14. Staff is exasperated though which kind of brought down the place a bit.

Booked a table for mothers day 2017 over the phone. Was told at the time of booking that mothers day would be a set menu with a glass of champagne on arrival for mothers. We arrived at the agreed time to be half-greeted by young, unprepared and disinterested staff. Was offered a table in the middle of a thoroughfare with views of the toilet. After politely inquiring if we could have a table by the window, we were told they were reserved (presumably for people more important than us). We eventually negotiated a window table (we were the only customers in the entire venue at this time).

After being seated, we were offered a regular menu, and after 10 minutes, politely inquired where the set menu and (promised) glass of champagne for my wife was.......after an awkward 5 minute fumble, the young staff eventually realised there was in-fact a set menu for mothers day and gave us a single piece of paper (for a table of 4). A more experienced female staff member eventually saved the situation by offering us champagne and took our orders whilst the young staff casually sipped a coffee by the cash register in full view of customers. At the end of the meal, we had ordered english breakfast tea, but were served some form of rose-hip / chamomile tea instead. We were made to feel like difficult customers by requesting the correct tea.

The only reason this received two stars instead of one is that the food was of excellent quality, was of good portion size and arrived quickly. Hardly a surprise considering we were the only customers in the venue at this time.

In summary, a nice venue with one helpful staff member whose efforts to improve our dining experience were genuinely appreciated (Anne?) - however the poor levels of service offered by the millennial / Gen Y staff was quite frankly cringe-worthy and completely detracted from our visit to Lerida Estate. We will not be returning.

Stopped by this little gem of a winery by suggestion of my sister, couldn't have been any better!! A pleasant ambiance to have lunch. Their Pinot Noir "Josephine" is simply divine, their Pinot Noir Rosé is literally the best rosé around. Will definitely come back for some more vino 🍷

Delicious wine and great service! Wine tasting was fun and the cakes and scones were thoroughly enjoyed by our group visiting.
