Lexie'S Village

In September of 2015, ABC's ‘Australian Story’ aired ‘Lexie’s Village’, an episode devoted to my journey and the path to pregnancy for my first embryo recipient, Fiona.

I received a barrage of enquiries from both individuals and media who wanted to know: what was the outcome of Fiona’s pregnancy? How have the remaining embryos been allocated? How has our Village evolved?

It became apparent shortly after the ‘Australian Story’ airing, that there was demand for a book detailing my full story, and the evolving story of the village. 18 months later, I'm proud to launch the first memoir ‘Lexie’s Village – A New Kind of Family’.

I decided to also establish Lexie's Village Publishing, which is devoted to producing literature that fosters awareness, education and support for people undertaking donor-assisted reproduction and all the kinds of families that form as a result.
