Lidcombe

A useful transport interchange that also includes Platform 0, Olympic Sprint and quite a peaceful station, plenty of Asians around and has quite a lot of peak hour services available. The roads around the station are very narrow however.

If you want to go to Stadium Australia aka (Telstra Stadium, ANZ Stadium, Olympic Park) you need to get off here. Going to Lidcombe station is like being in another country, you won't see many Australians there (Unless the rugby league or football is on). It's mainly all Chinese with the odd Indian thrown in.

Massive transport hub, with heaps of shops banks surrounding it making it a handy spot.

A great station with wheelchair access to all platforms.

You can catch Olympic Park trains from platform 0. Its a bit hard to find but you go to platform 1 and walk all the way to the end.

After you go through a tunnel youll see platform 0.

You can also catch city via babkstown train from here.

Platform 0 to Olympic Park can be hard to find. Go to platform 1 walk all the way to the end of the platform and go through a tunnel. Theres another platform where trains run to Olympic park.

It is small and quiet

Helpful and polite staff if you see them. It can get busy with all the Olympic Park events and they will have extra staff and security guards to keep things orderly. May be easier if they open that ramp on platform 1 so people wouldn't need to walk around and ease the crowd? It's always clean and bright!

Very clean. Friendly staff. And many trains. You'll feel at ease when you head to board your train!
