GENERAL NOTICE TO ALL AGES AND STAGES
We are excited to announce that the Term 4 program will be focused on school readiness for 2019. This means that our workshops will be chockablock full of literacy foundation activities and exercises to ensure that your child can move into the next phase of their schooling with confidence. For our Year 6 students, this will also incorporate an element of organisational skills to get them ready for the demands of high school. Please contact Emma or Lisa now if you would like more details about these exciting new workshops.

Graphic novels are wonderful books for primary-aged children who don’t enjoy reading (and for those who do).
The colourful and comic-like pictures help with comprehension and inferencing, and the chapter-book structure increases confidence.
The Dogman and Captain Underpants series are always popular - action, humour & silliness πŸ™ŠπŸ™‰πŸ™ˆ
... Which books helped your children develop a love of reading?

We would like to acknowledge our students on the magnificent progress they have made throughout Term 2. We have received feedback from families that mid year reports have shown significant improvements in the area of Literacy - some specifically noting developments in narrative & persuasive writing skills! Well done!
Looking forward to advancing further up the academic ladder in Term 3 and 4! 🌿
