Lightsview

I wish I never bought a land in Lightsview. Meeting these encumbrances in place has not only caused us extra costs, but also significant delay in construction. We are building with one of the most experienced building companies in Adelaide, but our building plan still hasn't been approved by Lightsview after several revisions. There are hidden rules, for example, when we bought the land, we were told by Lightsview it is required to leave 3 meters at the back which we did in our floor plan, however, now we are told our floor plan doesn't meet the emcumbrance as they require 20% of land being "private open space". Why didn't you inform us at the beginning? Why didn't you inform us when we made the first revision of our floor plan (because of energy rating assessment issues which was another long story). I am sorry to say this, but we are VERY disappointed.
