Came for a work Christmas party, attentive staff, lovely food, albeit a little small on the serving side, which I guess is to be expected in fine dining theses days. Can't speak much to the cost and therefore value as it was payed for by the boss! But all in a all a lovely evening in a great setting. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a venue for a larger group.

This hotel is modern with its services yet has the vibe of an older, stylish hotel. It feels at home in the area.
The location is perfect, from our room we got a glimpse of the blue mountains, but just a short 9 minute walk away and we were standing at the lookout for the 3 sisters, it doesn't get better than that.
We checked out the pool, don't let the name infinity pool fool you, it's not like the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.. But the infinity pool is nice, surrounded by greenery and next to a lovely garden it would be amazing on a hot day.. The indoor pool was a warmer temp so we jumped in and had a swim, it was great and there were plenty of towels in the pool area for guests to use.
The staff we interacted with were always wonderful and happy to help.
We would stay again in a heart beat.

Love coming up from Sydney and indulging into a High Tea at Lilianfels! Everything has so much flavour and is the perfect spot to relax on your little getaway from the city. Pricing is pretty much the same as everywhere else up here when it comes to High Teas, but they definitely look after you and it leaves you completely stuffed. Be sure to get the luxury package or deluxe as lets be honest if your holidaying you have to go all out!

Beautiful accommodation set a few minutes walk from the Three Sisters lookout. Food is amazing and the service outstanding. Will definitely come back!

The rooms are a bit dull, very traditional. Their internet service pricing is also pretty bad. Almost offensive!

Popped in for a coffee and cake as I have always enjoyed the ambience of Lilianfels. So totally disappointed with staff attitudes and the cold coffees and rock hard gluten free scones. In their favour they could see us sawing at the scones and decided not to charge us for them. Lilianfels has always been known for it's elegance and service but this experience left me cold. Hope you can lift your game as we owe it to our overseas visitors

Editing review to reflect most recent experience.
Unfortunately Lilianfels Resort has gone downhill somewhat since I last visited. The location is still as beautiful as ever, however the resort is in need of some repairs. In our room, one outlet simply didn't work, the showerhead controls were broken and the bath was surprisingly shallow.
The menu at the Lounge has shrunk in size and quality but their high tea appears to be delightful.
Staff were a bit cold and didn't did much to make us feel welcome, with the exception of Deborah who provided excellent service during our dinner at the Lounge.
Overall, I'd still recommend staying here, just try and get a good deal on rates and keep in mind that it's not quite as special as it used to be.

Incredible experience at Lilianfels. The staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were large and decorated beautifully, showcasing the historic charm of the original country house which is now Darleys. Had the four hour signature spa treatment, which was extremely relaxing, well worth the price and exactly as described online.

Well appointed rooms. Staff friendly. Good facilities - loved the indoor heated pool in Winter. However - High Tea overpriced and basic - for my wife (Gluten Free) ... not good at all. Breakfast basic and too expensive for selection - was SHOCKED to get a bill for our coffees at the end of breakfast ... huh??? Hospitality 101 - just increase cost by a few dollars to cover coffees ... don't bill guests after they pay so much in the first place. We ate at Echoes - nice meal - warm and friendly staff. BUT I'm sick of ordering Pork Belly at these award winning Restaurants and having the skin taken off and a piece of crackling from a bag (Supermarket) placed on top ... huh? Then paying $55 for a bottle of wine and seeing the same bottle at a bottle shop for $9.95 on the way home. Good location though.

Room very clean and comfortable, bed a bit firm though. Staff very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet while not huge, was good quality and very tasty (western only). A flat white coffee wasn't included in breakfast (cost an extra $5.50), probably could have been included in the cost for breakfast.

Sophisticated and beautiful. We had a gorgeous family high tea in this beautiful venue. The location and immediate gardens are gorgeous as is the food, tea and friendly service.

We had a couples massage at the spa. Unfortunately one of the therapists was sick and kept on coughing, sneezing and stopping treatment to blow her nose or drink water. The mens bathroom was also full of black mould and the shower head in the women's bathroom was broken. It was truly a terrible experience and when we gave feedback we were initially offered some lotions as compensation (on a $550 couples massage) which we did not accept. The manager finally said that 25% off one massage was the best they could do. Definitely not worth what they charge and the spa is in a deteriorating condition.

We sat in their amazing lounge room and relaxed in large leather chairs while we sat and ate a wonderful high tea. The chicken sandwiches were the best. And now I'm napping and relaxing with my peppermint tea. An awesome place to come and relax in style.
