The menu has been updated and the food is much better than before. The ravioli is excellent but is extremely overpriced. Love that they now serve all day breakfast! The staff are extremely courteous and friendly and the coffee is very good.

Apparently there has been a recent change in ownership leading to some disappointment amongst locals due to the reduced menu options. Lucky for my friend and me we enjoyed our choice of meals. It was a glorious sunny day so we sat outside enjoying the view of the rustic bush surrounds (at one of the tables at the back as the 'front verandah' was full). Staff were friendly. I'm taking off one point off only as the limited menu would be a draw-back with a large group that may have various dietary requirements... And if it was a gloomy cold day the atmosphere/views might not make up for it.

Waited 20 minutes for drinks, then further 45 minutes for meals that were pretty average. The place wasn't even busy. My vegetarian meal came with bacon on the side... awkward. Menu featured haloumi, only got 3 tiny pieces in the whole dish. The cutlery was dirty, thank god for napkins...
Menu quite limited for savoury options, the wait staff said they were under new management which is fair enough. The table next to us seemed to have trouble with the menu, I noticed several waitress correspondences.
Have been here once before and waited as long that time too. The food was better then, rather expensive both times. The staff were nice and the food was just okay, my partner makes better food at home.

Yes I am a local who WAS a REGULAR customer
Sadly I was appalled of the following;
Lack of vaiety to choose from on the menu
The quality and flavour of the food was tastless
Ravioli was tough and chewy and the other meals were not any better
Extremely disappointed because our expectations of our previous visits were NOT met
1 star rating is too much!
PS
Ladies are not called 'guy's' AND there are more mature words to use than 'yep' - it is cringe worthy.

Food was superb in a gorgeous tucked away spot in the mountains. Desperatley needs a fireplace! Service was good to start with but then waitress ducked off and we couldn't find her to order something else. Coffee was great.

We frequent this cafe at least 4 times a year and our last visit was terribly dissapointing. The waitress was very surly; she wasn't rude she just had an attitude that said she really wanted to be somewhere else. We wanted to have our favourite risotto dish which was unfortunately taken from the menu. Instead we both had mediocre seafood dishes. My wife found two hairs in her barramundi. To top it all off they charged a 15% surcharge since it was a Sunday so two meals and two drinks was just shy of $70. I do hope the management read this review and work to make it the fantastic cafe it once was.

Nice cafe in leafy setting in Faulconbridge with good food and coffee. I asked for a BLAT, which wasn't actually on the menu, but they made it for me anyway, and it was very nice. Gotta give them 5 stars for that.

Just downgraded my rating from 5 to 4 stars. I ordered bacon and eggs this morning, with roast tomato & mushrooms. Everything tasted very nice. But if you're going to use shortcut bacon, you should serve two pieces in place of one regular rasher or 4 pieces for an order of two rashers. Otherwise, you're getting half the amount of bacon you would get elsewhere.
