Went here to buy Christmas gifts and a dark hot chocolate, staff was friendly and helpful and the hot chocolate was superb .. tragic what happened here :(

Nice venue and quick service but so disappointed with the food and drink served to me. For starters, apart from the nice @looks of the items I ordered - it tasted as average as a corner shop cafe but with 400% inflated value in its price. A croissant with processed looking ham cooked in a microwave (really? YES - like a rubber bread). MILKSHAKE with salt and caramel that has no flavour and tastes like water sugar and 'something' for 9 aud. wow!!! I just could not believe how unimpressed I was. Despite loving to death LINDT chocolates I will have to extend my lack of satisfaction to all the foodies I know of to avoid this place. I asked to have a macadamia slice for takeaway. The waiter told me I had to order take away at the counter. Really again?? So I ordered a salt and caramel slice with a coffee with him instead. The coffee and cake was okay but no where near satisfactory for the 15aud because the cake didn't feel fresh but cold with nice looking though. I also cancelled the idea of buying a 17.50aud Christmas chocolate hat thus I can avoido dissatisfation. Mind you this was my treat day after three months in a high protein diet wih no sugar, milk and salt. So disappointed!

A not bad place for afternoon tea.The staff were nice and the place was not crowded. The food was nothing special but also nothing terrible. The macaroons was not light or crispy, not a fun of it.But the chocolate product was above average. The coffee was so so.

I've never had any issues with the products from any of the Lindt cafe's that I have visited. Today I was disappointed in the customer service. For work purposes I had a trolley with 2 heavy boxes that I was delivering to a company in the same building. Unaware that I was unable to use an elevator and not really wanting to drag a trolley up stairs, I thought I would try my luck at the cafe. As I have walked in, a staff member stopped me and said I can't bring a trolley through which I completely understood. However when I asked how I could get to an elevator, instead of helping, he continued to stand in front of me repeating what I heard the first time. I eventually just turned around and walked out as I found it simply rude and unhelpful.
I found out myself that I couldn't access an elevator, however regardless if it is a customer purchasing an item or someone simply wanting some obvious guidance, i'd expect better then that.

Great service. Good cakes. Enjoyed the ice cream.

I've had the chai latte a couple of times and I have to say: it is one of the most EXCEPTIONAL chai lattes in Sydney! With just the right amount of sweetness and milk, it was the perfect chai everytime! The cake slices are quite expensive but one of them were so dense and moist, it was a bit heavy but sickeningly sweet nonetheless! :) Their macarons are quite heavenly made too.

Great chocolate, not so great service. Our waiter, Gili, asked if we have ever worked in customer service to try and get us to understand the situation because he put an order through that wasn't received. What's there to understand? It's not his fault but damn well his problem. Your arrogance doesn't match the quality of the chocolate you serve. You should not work in hospitality when you can't take responsibility for an order you took and instead say it's not my fault and I don't know who's fault.
you can't give poor and rude customer service when in suits and the best way to deal with it is to at least apologise and be respectful.

We took our girls for a little treat over the weekend and they just thought they were in heaven. I didn't count the number of seconds or minutes of the service but we didn't wait long at all. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional, and, we enjoyed our cakes with ice-cream, coffee and the girls their hot chocolates.
If people are counting the number of minutes that it takes to get your drinks/food, maybe they're not with very good company. ?? Sometimes when you can't wait to get something, 2min feels like 10min. Relax😀
We can't wait for our next visit.

Went there last night and i was appalled by the service. I've been to Darling Harbour & Miranda and never encountered such rude and slow staff. I get it they were busy due to Vivid, but Darling Harbour is more busier yet can still make a damn milkshake in less than 5 minutes. I bought a hot chocolate, not that it was hot or choclatey AT ALL. My partner ordered a milk shake and no joke we waited more than 10 minutes for a milkshake. We had asked staff why so long and the barrister replied I only make coffee and the cashier replied please be patient we are busy. For the price of a drink you'd expect better product with less wait time. The drink eventually came out with 6 others... Waste of my time. I love Lindt but I will not go back to this store

I had a visit and requested some chocolates and they tasted like C4 and i got a drink and the cup had this cool clock with Arabic text on it but it counts down for some reason. I saw them selling fine white powder in a very secretive way too. Maybe because it was a secret ingredient or something but they also were storing C4 which looked like clay and bullets with a arsenal of guns. I don't even know why. people should investigate

I can't wait to get back to Lindt in Martin Place. This time (in February) I will have my 6 and 4 years old (plus hubby). I'm looking forward to another fantastic experience. Heading over from NZ and I know we won't be dissapointed. My favourite chocolate. 😀
