Great atmosphere. They had a nice selection of beers on tap. The 150+ year old building really gives some great character. Did was good also.
Built in 1841, the Lion of Waterloo is the oldest operating Tavern west of the Blue Mountains. It was once a passenger stop for Cobb & Co. Today it is nestled in a suburban street amongst residential houses. It has been well maintained with the many relics and history on the walls. It is cozy and oozes old world charm. The staff and patrons were welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately the kitchen was not operating so no meals were on offer but the beer and company was excellent.
A Friendly Old Beauty..that ultimate old charm pub experience..one of a kind.
A step back in time with very little change from original design. Early 1800. It is worth the visit even just to see "Elvis"
