About Little Big Steps

Little Big Steps is a not-for-profit aiming to improve the health and wellbeing of paediatric cancer patients Australia-wide by using gamification and interactive technologies to incentivise and monitor physical activity and encourage interactaction with other users. The aim is to fund not only the technology, but also exercise physiologists to manage the programs according to the individual needs of patients, as well as provide research grants for study into the benefits of physical activity during cancer treatment in childrenLittle Big Steps is a volunteer driven, grassroots charity. LBS co-founders Cass Howcroft and Cindy Bakos are passionate and committed parents who have experienced first-hand the nightmare of having a child diagnosed with cancer and are determined to make a difference in the lives of other cancer sufferers.
