Little Wonder - Parents' Fundraising & Support Committee

Little Wonder is the Parents' Fundraising and Support Committee for RPA Newborn Care, the intensive care unit for newborn babies at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, providing the highest level of neonatal intensive care available in Australia. RPA Newborn Care looks after more than 950 sick and premature and critically ill newborn babies each year and provides intensive care services for babies born at RPA and also for babies transferred there from hospitals without the same high level of intensive care facilities. Little Wonder is comprised of a group of parents who have experienced the RPA Newborn Care journey first hand. Under the guidance of the Fundraising Manager at RPA Newborn Care they started work in late 2009 to raise funds to support the unit and the parents of babies in the hospital. The committee view their efforts as a way of giving back to the unit that saved their own babies and allowed them to prosper. The aim of our committee is to support the work of RPA Newborn Care and assist them with the exceptional services they provide to the babies and their families.
