Local Liquor - Gladstone Hotel
Reviews
Great pub great food easy to get to
It was my first visit not too keen on coming back. Ordered the chicken schnitzel with shoestring fries and salad not nice some funny spice on the chicken coating. Didn't like it at all chicken lacked flavour. Chips should be salty.
The restaurant is Greek stye and whilst delicious, it is a little pricey. $26 for lamb Souvlaki. The dips were nice and they were generous with the pita bread. The pub has Espresso martinis on tap as well, if thats your thing.
The people who attend this institution are generally unfriendly. I have been assaulted here before. The staff are ok, but there's no saving this pub.
Large mark up on Local Liquor bottleshop prices. I could buy a carton of Guinness at Petersham bottleshop for $20 less.
The Gladstone Hotel at Dulwich Hill serves up a Greek Style flavour in the bistro called Spartan Grill. I had a delicious pulled pork roll with shoestring fries topped with herbs. All this chased down with a Cooper's Sparking Ale. .
Three and a half beer steins outta 5. πΊπΊπΊπ. .
Great small selection
