What is my page about? . . . Well my page is about my business.

I started life as a hairdresser way back when I was 14 as a Saturday girl in my local hairdressing salon. I was always keen to get stuck in so I started cutting and colouring from an early age, dragging all my friends in to the salon as my guinea pigs! ! Once I had the bug of chatting to clients and making them feel happy about themselves I knew I wanted to make a career out of it.

I trained in England in a hairdressing school in my local town of Southampton for 2 years to get my certificates. I was then very lucky as my boss put me straight on to the salon floor (to work as a real hairdresser and not a trainee anymore) in a sink or swim situation, I swam thankfully! !

I then worked in the same salon for over 6 years building up the salon and my own clients. I then managed to salon for a short while until I made the decision to come to Australia!

I worked for a few places in Oz, firstly in Adelaide then a few in Sydney, where I later met my now husband! !

We then travelled back to London for a few years where I had the best opportunity to further my career working in a very busy salon in Baker Street. This was awesome, I met so many new hairdressers from all over the world and learnt many new techniques.

We have now returned to Oz with our beautiful baby and I have started business on my own.

I still to this day love my job, and more importantly, love making people happy.

I hope to see you one day in my funky little salon : )
