Looking Glass Photography Description

Nelson Lau is a Sydney-based photographer and filmmaker with an interest in creating photographic narratives based on fictional drama.

His photographs aim to achieve a cinematic quality, inviting the viewer to become immersed in the visual world of the story.

Nelson’s photographs have been published in The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Saturday Paper, The Chronicle, and Limelight Magazine. His works have also been exhibited at 4A Centre of Contemporary Asian Art.

His first exhibition in May 2015 features behind-the-scenes photographs of 'One Less God', an upcoming independent Australian feature film inspired by the events of the Mumbai terrorist attacks in 2008. This is an associated exhibition of the 2015 Head On Photo Festival – the largest photo festival in Australia and the second largest in the world.
