Lorraine Academy of Dance offers classes in Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Funky Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Stretch at Abbotsford, Earlwood and Panania.

Lorraine Academy of Dance is a fun, friendly place to learn dance. We hold classes in Abbotsford-Chiswick, Earlwood-Kingsgrove, and Panania. We believe in providing a caring, friendly environment in order to build confidence in every student. We offer dance classes in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Funky Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop, Boys’ Hip Hop, Performance Group and Stretch Acrobatics. All ages are welcome.

Our aim is to provide a fun, learning environment and instill a love of dance in our students.

This is a friendly dance school and we encourage feedback from students and parents.

Examinations are offered but are entirely optional and many students simply like to enjoy learning the latest dance steps, in a fun, friendly environment. Examinations can be taken in Classical Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Tap.

The Earlwood and Panania studios have been running for 22 years. Abbotsford for 10 years. During that time we have seen many of our students advance their dance education at a tertiary level and even move on to professional careers in dance and dance education. Former students have been accepted into Newtown Performing Arts, McDonald College, Queensland Ballet School and Company, and the University of NSW. Some students have even opened their own dance schools.

All Lorraine Academy of Dance teachers have experience and professional qualifications. Lorraine, the principal, is a qualified senior teacher and dance examiner.
