Moving Toward Emotional Balance
Saturday 8. 30 - 10am
Myofascial Release Yin
Bring a yoga mat and cushion - blankets, blocks, bolsters and eye pillows provided. Please wear comfortable clothing.
In order to enable individual attention, bookings are essential.
Mindfulness helps us to be aware of what is presently happening in our bodies and in our minds. Sometimes our bodies (and our lives) are not how we want them to be, but by turning our attention to our bodies as they are, we can slowly begin to transform our physical, emotional and spiritual health.
Mindful Movement is a trauma sensitive yoga practice which promotes self-regulation by connecting with the body, through breath. A mindful movement session is less about ‘getting somewhere’ and more about ‘being here’. Moving slowly with awareness we learn to meet our lives, and whatever circumstances we may find, with kindness, self-compassion and non-judgemental awareness.
Classes are aimed at beginners through to seasoned yoga practitioners and suitable for all body types.
