Lucia Light is a special lamp, a neurostimulator which combines flashing and constant light to stimulate EEG brainwave patterns that help users achieve a hypnagogic trance. Lucia was created by 2 Austrian medical doctors, Dirk Proeckl (neurologist) and Engelbert Winkler (psychiatrist). At the age 7, Dr Winkler had a transformative near death experience (NDE). Inspired by a series of recurring dreams, where its design and name were given by Spirit, Lucia ("light" in Italian), was created in 2009. The doctors were told: "Create Lucia and send her out into the world, for she is what is going to shift and change the consciousness of many. ”
