"First Crop Harvest"
The Northeastern Thai Jasmine Rice Crop is harvested once a year, usually around September-October period. The first crop harvested is sometimes called 'Spring Rice', more commonly known as "New Crop XXXX year". For example, if the crop is harvested end of 2009, then it is labeled as New Crop 2010.

The First Crop is highly sought after for it's beautiful fragrant aroma, and soft texture.
