Reviews
Excellent coffee and Italian treats, Norton St in the west!
Coffee is ok. Charged extra $0.50 to use efpos which I wasn't happy about even though there is a ban on these practises
Checked trading hours before entering to ensure we wouldn't upset anyone. Treated quite poorly and order was wrong
I've been here a few times, the portions are generous overall but a few small things like only 3 cherry tomatoes and 2 spears of asparagus in one of the dishes was disappointing. The sweet potato fries were delicious, and the eggs were poached well for both dishes. Not sure why our coffee was served in take-away containers when we dined in. The Nutella milkshake was delicious but not very cold. We asked for some table water and the cups were a bit dirty inside and out, and some of the cutlery in the jar was too.
We've also stopped in for takeaway cakes and coffee and they were delicious also.
Overall this cafe has a lot going for it, and we'll definitely be back, but a little more attention to detail would really help.
Love the coffee and the pastries. Our favorite meeting point to go away for the weekend.
Great customer service, delicious food, friendly setting....
My wife and I had ordered some lunch here, the food was average and one of the girls was rude when we asked if we could sit inside too close to closing time. The other girls working there were very friendly though.
Great food, coffee and promt friendly service.
Butterscotch Pancakes, Eggs Benedict.
Love the breakfasts and great dinners now. The cakes are wow
First time back since renovations, sadly very disappointed will not be returning. Bought two Panini, not much filling in the middle for the price, mentioned we were eating in and panini and coffee served to us in paper bag and cup.
Visited this cafe many times before renovations and always found it to be of high standard and great service.
Went back today at 2.20pm only to be told we are closing at 3pm (not sure why that mattered). We ordered 2 coffee's plus a small cake to share with cream. Coffee was served in take away cups to our table and cake in a paper bag. Both unacceptable. We had to ask for a spoon to stire our coffee and a plate and spoon to eat our cake. We will definately not be returning to this place again.
After trying this cafe for the first time we definitely will NOT be returning. Aside from charging restaurant prices for sub standard poor quality food they do not like to be informed their food is terrible.
The calamari & brocolini tasted like it had been cooked in oil that has not been changed in 2 years.
The pasta was so dry it was crunchy & tasted like it had been nuked over two weeks. There was nothing that you could call a sauce on it and the little there was could be cooked better by a high school student taking their first food tech class. This food made me feel sick. I didn't even take it home for the dog.BIN
