Lyle Marshall and Associates Pty Limited have been established since April 1974, and in 2016 the company became Lyle Marshall and Partners Pty Limited, specialising in transportation planning; traffic engineering and parking studies; design and supervision of roadworks and drainage, water and sewer reticulation mains and pump stations; parking stations and bridges; feasibility and market studies; physical land use planning and design of large residential subdivisions; hydrology, hydraulics and flood plain management; environmental impact studies, architectural design. Many of the complex problems confronting our clients require an inter disciplinary approach by specialists who are able to communicate and work as a group for a successful outcome. This firm has developed a close working relationship with a number of consultant firms on a number of successful assignments. When special research skills are required the firm is able to call individual consultants. The firm can provide professional and sub-professional backup support in undertaking field surveys, analysis of data and preparation of maps and diagrams. The firm has undertaken a number of major projects throughout the Sydney Metropolitan area and New South Wales, North Queensland, the ACT and Victoria as shown on the list of recent assignments. In municipal engineering, roadworks and land development, the firm is uniquely qualified to provide a total design package; from preliminary market, traffic and land-use studies through to final design, contract preparation and construction supervision. Computer aided design and drafting facilities are available in house for co-ordinate geometry, road and stormwater drainage design and earthworks quantities using the firms computers and Civilcad, Autocad, Ilsax, Autoturn, SIDRA and Drains software. Through the diversity of our technical resources and through the experience and dedication of our staff, the firm is able to deliver high-quality and cost-effective engineering to our clients. A brief description of some relevant assignments in traffic and transportation, civil and structural design including major drainage works, planning and design of large residential subdivisions and environmental impact assessment studies are included.
