Life presents challenges and sometimes we struggle to overcome them. Sometimes we need that extra source of support and guidance to help us when we’re feeling overwhelmed.

I’d like to help you learn new ways of responding to life’s challenges; to free you from your old restrictive patterns that leave you feeling stuck. I bring over 10 years experience helping clients achieve their therapy goals and proven knowledge and skills in clinical psychology.

My approach is gentle, compassionate, and supportive. I aim to help you create a life that is meaningful and with awareness of what is truly important to you while also effectively handling the pain and distress that you are currently struggling with.

PROFILE
I am a Clinical Psychologist, hold general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and am registered with Medicare Australia, WorkCover NSW, Department of Veteran’s Affairs and EAP providers. I hold memberships with the Australian Psychological Society (APS), the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) and the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS). I am also a member of the Central Sydney and Eastern Suburbs Primary Health Network (CESPHN).

I have over 10 years experience utilising several evidence-based approaches to help my clients achieve their therapy goals. I now predominantly employ Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in my work. I have worked in individual, couple and group therapy, and in correctional, hospital, community, research, corporate, defence and private mental health settings.

In terms of formal training I attended the University of Auckland in New Zealand and graduated with a Doctor of Clinical Psychology and Bachelor of Arts Honours (First Class). I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attend training courses presented by renowned national and international presenters. I also attend monthly NSW Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Interest Group meetings.
