The Macarthur family has been continuously in business in Katoomba since 1941. Macarthurs Arcade is still operated and owned in partnership with a Macarthur family member to this day. Anne Blackwood (nee Macarthur) roller-skated as a child (poorly) during the current building's construction in 1962. Her roller-skating has not improved!

The Arcade is located in the centre of Katoomba in Katoomba Street near the famous Paragon Cafe and Carrington Hotel.

Macarthurs Arcade contains many different dealers through out the centre so stock changes all the time.

The range of items sold throughout the Arcade range from antique lead toy soldiers to 1960's Laminex tables, to vintage clothing, collectable models and everything in between.
