Excellent shop! Bought the Voyager backpack, locks, micro towel, n bit n pieces for my grandson to travel to UK n Europe. The girls at Ncle Macpac couldnt have been more helpful. Went back 3 times for gear and no one was pushy just really helpful.

I would like to say thanks to macpac Newcastle for their great after-sales service. I bought a pair of Salewa Firetail hiking boots for an upcoming hike on the Overland Track in Tassie. They seemed to fit fine while I was in the shop and for about a week afterward but then I started experiencing pain at the top of 1 foot. With only a week and s half before I was due to leave I realised there was no way I could for 6-8 hours s day in these boots. The fellows at macpac were great. They realised the boots were too large and exchanged them for a smaller pair. These boots were quite expensive so I was really impressed that they would do this. Anyway with very little time left to walk them in I had NO troubles with them at all on the track. While everyone around me were strapping their toes I had absolutely no worries. Thanks macpac Ncle and thanks Salewa. Great shoes and a great place to go for good service and advice.
