my father was an electrician at Macquarie lighthouse and we were lucky to have lived on sight.
What a beautiful place to view the sea from one of the most exclusive suburbs in the midst of the Sydney city.
The lighthouse stands out in its magnificence and is a great sight any time of the day. Also a great place to click photographs. Just Majestic.
This historic lighthouse happens to be first lighthouse built in all of Australia. The nearby cliffs are a beautiful place to stroll around.
First and longest serving lighthouse site in Australia. A great servant of all sailors.
This is by far my favorite lighthouse. I've driven past this place for ten years, taken photos with Canon cameras and lenses but it's this photo, taken with my old iphone 4S that catches a surreal moment with the perfect wisp of cloud in the sky.
A historic lighthouse on the rugged coast, there are beautiful views over the ocean from here and forms part of a nice walk between South Head and Bondi. Well worth a visit.
