A group of 11 members, Madakto is mainly Kurdish and Persian band who specialise in a highly professional presentation of traditional folkloric music. Each member is a very accomplished performer with at least twenty years of exprience. We have built our years as a band in Iran and also in Sydney since being granted permanent residency in the recognition of our skills. The role of Madakto is to both teach and perform, and we are constantly in the procces of making new CDs. What we offer is rare and unique , as there is no other group in Australia who can play Kurdish and persian music combined into one program.
