I went in to buy some PPE equipment, the store wasn't busy, however the rude old shrew behind the counter decided to ignore my presence and continued to complete her remedial task

I was extremely disappointed when I came to the Queanbeyan store this afternoon. I wanted to have a look at the outdoor furniture on sale in this weeks catalogue. The salesperson I spoke with was lovely and most helpful. Unfortunately when she asked the manager regarding the furniture he responded he could not be bothered ordering it in for show, if someone wants it they can order it from the catalogue. This is a pretty poor attitude. I would never buy a piece of furniture without trying it out first and sitting on it. That's what displays are for. I decided to go to the Karabar shop and have a look. They had all the units on display and I ended up buying a $1800 outdoor setting from them.

Their timber is much better quality than bunnings. A little pricier, but straight!

Small range but good specials tables and sales.

Very helpful staff, was the only place in Canberra that offered to order in a product for me that they didnt stock regularly...and even called me back when the product arrived.

Been there 20 times in the last few months. They never have what I want (and I'm not after anything complicated). Some bright spark has cut back their stock to one (seemingly) one of everything. No range and all standard sized timber etc. Missing really basic items. Doesn't open till eight on Saturday. "Go where the tradies go?" Don't think so any more
