The company was established in 1998 by Ben & Adrian Lafleur, Australian-born Canadians who saw the need to improve Australia's single-glazed windows. Based on an original design by energy physicist Kenneth Foster at the MIT Centre for Innovation in Boston, the Lafleur brothers adapted their unique solution to Australian conditions.
