Our Cute Cottage, exclusive executive suites, and our fantastic family rooms have all just received a 4 Star rating. We are feeling very proud of all the hard work our team has been doing!!!

Just wanted to respond to the recent review by Nia VP. Manera Heights Apartments is primarily provides accommodation to visiting medical professions (35%), corporate guests (20%), domestic tourists (25%) and people under going medical treatment at Dubbo base hospital (15%), Tafe staff and students 4.5%, emergency accommodation less than 0.5%). Unfortunately there is also a problem with abuse and domestic violence in the Central West, resulting in a high demand for crisis and ...emergency accommodation. As a socially member of the Dubbo Community we on occasion provide such emergency accommodation, limited to 1 apartment at any one time, and carefully screened by ourselves. Normally request for emergency accommodation are made by the Dept. of Community and Family Services. However in this instance we were totally blindsided by an agency contracted to the department, who decided to bypass the normal channels and book via Booking.com as a business traveler. It soon became apparent that this was not the case, and instead our apartment was occupied by a young foster child, how due to lack of adequate supervision by those charged with her care began to display offensive and anti-social behaviors which we would not tolerate from any of our guests. Shortly after this incident they were asked to leave our premises. We responded by offering Nia VP a verbal and written apology for her distress at being comforted by this girl and gave a 50% refund of the accommodation costs. In hindsight our only mistake was not asking these guests to leave sooner. However we find this review is malicious and verging on Slanderous. Once again we offer our sincere apologies to Nia VP and her family for this distressing experience. We have also lodged a complaint with the care agency concerned and supplied them with a copy of Nia VP letter of complaint.
