Cracking hostel with amazing staff. I'll stay here for sure next time I'm in Manly

Pricey but worth it. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast is very rich in variety, so are the daily events. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

Best hostel I have ever stayed in! The staff were so helpful, everything was very clean and modern. Great events/activities on and amazing vibe all round. Highly recommend!

Excellent free breakfast and activities. Beds are comfy and bathrooms are tidy. Good kitchen and spacious lounge area. Location near Manly beach is perfect!

Very good, in the centre of Manly nearby everything you need. Huge kitchen if you like to cook. Rooms good quality with curtains, which give you more privacy. Recommend!

Very rude office staff and management as first day had my $300 shoes stolen from my twin room! Rooms smell as well as very dirty kitchen with very minimal cooking equipment! They definitely need to spend more money fixing the place! But if your a party animal then this is the place as you can get any party drug from this place or just chill out lay back and get stoned... as all drugs to be seemed legal in this place, good for some but maybe not all! And the price they charge for the rooms is pretty bad considering the utilities and cleanliness and the smelly matrices. The only good thing is that it is close to pretty much everything. I think that if you would like a clean place with friendly staff and management then I recommend boardriders as it is very clean very friendly staff and also a great place to have a good time. MANLY BACKPACKERS IS GOOD IF EVERYTHING ELSE IS BOOKED OUT BUT WOULD DEFINITELY BE A LAST RESORT!!!

Bunk beds without a ladder to climb up to the top bed... Weird.
Nice wall painting. Convenient location.

Some facilities needs some improving, overall i had decent experience for the given price..

People behind the desk when you walk when you walk in

Terrible. Booked for 3 nights - only wound up staying for one.

Experienced:
-People drunkenly yelling out our windows between 11pm - 3am.
-Someone crank up a boom box at 2am.
-People smoking pot on the balcony.
-Someone throwing up in the rooms rubbish bin multiple times during the night.
-People having a relationship argument in our room.
-Relationship argument people asleep and half dressed the next morning after making more noise during the night...
-More people staying in our room than beds.
-People leaving a shoe to hold the door open, probably for the extras mentioned above.
-Someones first words to my partner were to ask if she could help them find a job?!

Staff didn't seem to give a toss.

WIFI didn't work at all - wound up going to an AMAZING coffee place around the corner instead for some peace of mind.

Have stayed in hostels all over the world, but NOTHING like this. I would have rather stayed on the street in hindsight.

They tried to get myself and my partner to pay for the extra two nights when we checked out after only one. We flat out refused to pay for the extra two we had booked for and ended up in a hotel downtown. Everything else was booked out. Would rate this place a zero if I could. Boarding house masquerading as a hostel.
