Manly Computer Pals specialise in helping 55 + year old seniors navigating the confusing world of modern technology; mobile phones, tablets, laptops, computers and smart home devices Senior learners are tutored by volunteers who may already have retired from full time work and who have the skills and technical knowledge to navigate digital devices; smartphones, tablets, laptops and smart home devices. Manly Computer Pals focuses on 1 on 1 learning, pairing a student with a tutor, personalising each lesson for 1 hour per week over one school term, part term, 3 weeks or per hour. As a volunteer tutor with our Club it is imperative to engender confidence, guiding our senior students into a comfortable learning experience. Most club senior learners /students have little or no technical knowledge or understanding of digital devices. Tutor membership is free.
