Manly Vale Playgroup

A friendly playgroup for parents /carers and their children aged up to 5 years. On Tuesdays at 9. 30 in Manly Vale Community Centre. Part of Playgroup NSW.

Are you a parent /carer looking to do something fun with your little one(s) and make new friends? At Manly Vale Playgroup, we welcome parents /carers and their children (aged up to 4 years) every Tuesday in term time from 9. 30–11. 30 am. It's a great place for the kids to play with different toys and the adults to find friendship and support.

Held in Manly Vale Community Centre, we have a big indoor space with lots of toys, including a mini trampoline and slide, and a lovely shaded garden with a climbing frame and slide.

While the kids are playing, parents and carers can have a cup of tea or proper coffee (from the Elvis themed local coffee van who visits us each week! ) and a biscuit while having a chat. A healthy morning tea is provided for the kids by one of the group. We like everyone who attends to contribute by getting out toys, assisting with craft activities, and packing away toys and tidying up at the end.

As part of Playgroup NSW, the group is run by volunteers so our fees are very reasonable. It is $5 per family for a casual visit or $30 to pay for a full term. You will need to become a member of Playgroup NSW (for insurance purposes - $39 per year). All the money collected goes towards paying for the centre hire, craft supplies, toys, etc.
