While in daylight hours this hotel was quite pleasant, if you enjoy your sleep and that of your child’s, I highly recommend not to stay here, especially during the weekend. We were thoroughly looking forward to a relaxing weekend away and while the room was comfortable, it was diminished by late night shenanigans from the ‘Salt Bar’. Both Friday and Saturday night, we felt we were in the nightclub both with knowing most of the words to the lyrics and hearing their clients carrying on outside. While the hotel manager was considerate to the fact our child was subjected to this, there was basically nothing he could do as this is a ‘separate’ business to the hotel.
It pains me to sound like my grandmother but when this is a ‘family friendly’ environment this is a major no no!
