Marine Rescue Lake Macquarie

We are a volunteer Marine Rescue Organisation. We are available 24 /7 operating a Search and Rescue Coordination Centre and marine rescue vessels to assist people on our waterways and offshore. The Marine Rescue Lake Macquarie unit is one of the most active within Marine Rescue NSW. We are a community owned organisation and rely substantially on the generosity of the public for donations in respect of operational expenses. In addition to our primary role of safety on the water both on the lake and out at sea, the Marine Rescue Lake Macquarie provides education for the boating public, including Boat & PWC licence courses, Marine Radio LROCP (Long Range Operator Certificate of Proficiency) and the SROCP (Short Range Operator Certificate of Proficiency) courses.
