Marmong Point Marina is a 245 berth marina with Dry Storage facilities for 35 boats & Hardstand space for up to 28 boats

This is a full time varied role working in all areas of a busy marina boatyard. You will support the Marina Yard team to complete jobs at a high level of workmanship, in an efficient and productive manner, be committed to giving all customers a professional result and provide vessel refuelling services and general yard/grounds maintenance duties. The role may also require operation of our 40t Travelift and our Marine Forklift, while we would prefer an experienced operator – for the right candidate we are willing to train and put the successful candidate through the accredited MIA Travel lift ticket course. You are also responsible for working in a safe & professional manner at all times and within our environmental policies and procedures.
Duties & requirements include: • Experience in operation of 40t travelift and forklift preferred but we welcome anyone who is interested in obtaining their travel lift ticket with the MIA • Boatyard duties including antifoul and propspeed application • Vessel refuelling after induction • General yard and grounds maintenance duties • Must have a current car licence • Boat handling experience preferred • An eye for delivering excellence in customer service and a proactive work ethic • Willingness to work in a team environment • Flexible work attitude • Salary commensurate with experience • Commitment to safe work practices and WHS • High attention to detail

One week ago today Marmong Point Marina and The Nautilus Marine Great Australian Poker Run supporting MS together hosted Lake Mac FLURO Poker Run. What a great weekend it was, lots of new friends were made along with heaps of laughs, great music, awesome food and a super time on beautiful Lake Macquarie. Thanks to Alex and his team for the massive effort they put into the event and also to Conn for helping put this together. $25K raised for MS and we can't wait to do it all again next year. Also a big thanks to everyone that donated prizes for the auction. Here's a few shots from the Friday and Saturday night events.
