Marrickville West Community Garden is a vibrant communal green space in West Marrickville where garden members can learn about sustainable practices.

The mission of Marrickville West Community Garden [MWCG] is to create a vibrant communal green space in West Marrickville where garden members can grow organic produce, recycle kitchen and garden waste and learn about sustainable practices.

OUR AIM

Our aims are:

• to respond to the living environment and share knowledge amongst our garden members.

• to grow and learn how to be a more sustainable community.

• to create a garden that is a space to reflect and enjoy a quiet time.

• to exchange gardening ideas and to socialise with each other and with our invited guests.

• to assist and encourage Marrickville West Primary School Children’s Garden Club to learn about the joys of gardening and how to help make our planet a more sustainable environment.
