Mary Christeck is an American visual Artist living in Australia who loves to paint and draw. Her textured surfaces have been utilized on several Architecture projects in Sydney since beginning her first design business in 1996.
Mary’s artwork is generated from her travel experiences to Europe and the USA.
When she travels she takes hundreds of photographs and writes in a travel diary. Informed by the stimuli of street life, graffiti and each city’s architecture from fabulous doors and windows to peeling paint and observing current affairs over numerous media in every city. Mary has a studious approach to creating a visual narrative to capture her travel experience in her professional art practice.
Mary started working in the bathroom industry in about 2012 as a designer for Bathroom Warehouse. From there she moved to Kitchen Group where she started applying her design skills to the kitchen industry. Mary loves creating kitchens for the people who love to cook and share stories around the island bench every day with their families.
